What is the Newsletter About?

As we explained in the Jenuine Journal’s Exclusive Weekly Journal Prompt Newsletter on our FAQ Page, we would like to let you know that the Newsletter Group is a feature of the Jenuine Journal that reaps better benefits of the Jenuine Journal; we express that the Newsletter Group is a feature of the Jenuine Journal that reaps better uses of the Jenuine Journal than other parts.

The Jenuine Journal’s Exclusive Weekly Journal Prompt Newsletter group is more spoiled than any other subdivision of the Jenuine Journal. Within the Newsletter group, members are sent more personal, direct, guided, and well-thought-out journal prompts than what is posted as the Daily Prompt.

This is because the Jenuine Journal’s Prompt concept of Exclusive Completely-Instructed Journal prompts takes more time to create, design, plan, and be decided upon than all the other projects to release to the public. It could take 5+ hours for most Admins to come up with, write out, design, and organize a Completely-instructed Journal Prompt.

A link to the Completely-Instructed Journal Prompt of the week used to be automatically sent to our social media. Still, we have since decided that the essence of ‘Exclusive’ could be implemented more if we did not give direct access to our social media pages.

Instead of a one-liner as the sole journal prompt matter, our Completely-Instructed Journal Prompts guide the journaler through what we (Admins) mean when discussing navigation. The Completely-Instructed Journal Prompts from our Admins give detailed instructions to follow through with the journal prompts’ topic. A journal prompt could be titled ‘Journal about a time you felt brave,’ but a Completely-Instructed Journal Prompt will give five steps to process and find those brave moments through your memory and to help you validate yourself.

How to Join the Jenuine Journal’s Newsletter

When you meet the Sign Up Form, there are various amounts of basic information present. The first paragraph will ask you if you’re ready to join the Journaling Club and explains the environment you’ll be entering.

The second paragraph will explain our Monthly Journal Prompt Challenges. These challenges occur each month with different sets of questions for each month. Each month has its own set of questions, which are turned into its own social media posts and content.

The third paragraph section draws back to the first paragraph to further convince potential members to subscribe! The fourth paragraph reminds potential subscribers to always check their, Junk and, Promotions folders to ensure their emails don’t accidentally end up in those folders.

Next, the page will ask you for your First Name and preferred Email Address. This is so that when you subscribe, your emails will address you with your preferred name and will be sent to an email address that you’ll be sure to check.

The following section asks how you would like to join the Jenuine Journal’s Newsletter group. You can ‘Join the Original Club,’ allowing an admin to send you an invitation to our Discord Server and social media group chats. If you remain a member without being added to group chats, you absolutely can! An admin will not reach out to you to invite you to a group chat.

Lastly, the page will ask you how you want to receive emails. You can choose to accept all past journal prompts, including current ones, or to only receive emails (updates, first/end-of-the-month newsletters) and prompts from now on. This means you will only receive prompts from now on instead of prompts from past sessions.

What is the Process of the Newsletters?

The process of the newsletters includes a monthly routine of First Month Newsletters, exclusive journal prompts, Reach-Out emails, End of Month Newsletters, and Catch-Ups or Resends.

New subscribers will be automatically sent a Welcome Message that welcomes you to the Journaling Club, invites you to our group chats and social media accounts, and it delivers to you our exclusive Journal Prompt Calendar and Review Set.

Next, you may be sent a First of the Month Newsletter if it is the first of the month, or if you’re a new subscriber generally. Subscribers, as mentioned before, can choose to receive all previous prompts, but all subscribers will be sent the First/End of the month newsletters regardless. This is so everyone is caught up on the updates within the Jenuine Journal.

What can I Expect from the Newsletters?

As mentioned, you will receive a Welcome Message as soon as you join the Jenuine Journal’s newsletter, and members will inevitably be sent that month’s First/End of Month Newsletters. The Welcome Message is a moderate size of information all on one page. It is filled with welcoming messages and links to download the month’s Prompt Calendar, and you are invited to our Discord Server.

The First/End of the Month Newsletters is relatively longer newsletters sent out. This is because these newsletters are filled with one month’s worth of information. This includes all the updates made that month, the plans, and things going on behind the scenes. It is often the longest of the newsletters that are sent out. The First and End of Month Newsletters often include links to our surveys, our social media, our group chats, and information about anything that may involve our subscriber’s private information (email address) or any other identifiable information. For example, if the Jenuine Journal were to move Email Marketing Providers, everyone would be alerted of this change because their data is involved. The First/End of the Month Newsletters often includes information like that.

So, you can expect the First/End of the Month Newsletters to be pretty long. In reality, there is very little information; the format is just broken up into smaller sections so the reader can process the data in smaller quantities. The word count for these newsletters often subceed 1,000 words.

There’s more picture space than words; it seems long, but it’s not!

The Exclusive Journal Prompts are sent out each week, and each prompt is from a different Admin. Each Admin has their prompt that they created and released each week in rotation. This is called Admin Rotations. They begin after the first week of the month. Admin Rotation Journal prompts are relatively short. Each Admin organizes their prompt in different ways from each other. The prompts are typically predictable regarding style and the topic they discuss. You’ll be able to learn more about each Admin here.
